When my Grandpa went into Assisted Living for Seniors I was elated that he might have neighbors that would become friends.
I also got him a dog from the Denver Dumb Friends League. He named her Joyce.
My thinking was (Joyce) would protect him.
It turns out, Joyce, became the friend and protector of all the neighbors.
