Our animals give us so much.  It is fitting that we share the knowledge of these heroes with our community.

The Colorado Veterinary Medical Foundation (CVMF) is now accepting nominations for the 2012 animal hero of the year in Colorado.

 This is Zoe, the 2011 winner.  Zoe saved the life of her sibling (4 ½ years old) by fighting coyotes when they attacked in her own back yard. What a perfect friend to have!
